Going to Point Reyes Station for the oysters? Stay for the boutiques - SF Chronicle, April 30, 2019

Point Reyes Station, located just south of the national park in Marin County, has become a retreat for San Franciscans searching for a coastal California hidden by the city. Dotted among the remnants of Point Reyes Station’s whistle-stop past — a former railroad depot-turned post office, the historic Old Western Saloon — you’ll find contemporary home-design offerings that draw inspiration from the natural surroundings. “The town is shifting with more Teslas arriving each year,” says local designer Astrid Lindo. “Yet, one constant is that visitors and locals share a love of nature and craftsmanship.”
